Koome Subcounty is politically headed by Chairperson LC3, Subcounty Executive comprised of 5 members and 17 Councillors. The technical team is headed by Senior Assistant Chief Administrative Officer. The Subcounty is made up of 4 parishes namely Bugombe, Mubembe, Busanga and Lwomolo with 29 villages headed by village chairpersons.
